Among the images up for consideration is ‘Diana the Animal Healer, Topanga, California, 2017’ by Kat Bawden (@bawdenka). “Diana DelMonte, an animal communicator, tries to comfort a pig before he is euthanized,” the photographer writes. “This is from my ongoing series, Mystical Woman, about women who work in a deeply spiritual, religious, or healing field.” More at @bawdenka. Photoville has hosted exhibitions by organizations ranging from The New York Times, TIME Magazine, and National Geographic to Instagram, The Pulitzer Center, and the Magnum Foundation, and more than 80,000 people visited Photoville 2017. This is the second year The Print Swap will be exhibiting at Photoville.
